Dr. Agrawal is a dual-board-certified pediatrician and child abuse expert who operationalizes 25+ years of clinical and advocacy experience to advise on innovative community centered health system design. Focused on Health Equity, she provides the critical trauma informed lens needed to advance AI strategies, trauma informed policies, and community grounded practice for vulnerable populations.
Clinician
A mission driven pediatrician with over 25 years of experience in providing trauma informed care for underserved children. She attended NJ medical school, pediatric residency at Cornell, and academic pediatric fellowship at NYU. She is double board certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics and General Pediatrics.

Dr. Agrawal’s writings have been published in the New York Times, New York Daily News, STAT, and other national media. She has been interviewed by CNN, BBC, and PBS. She was featured as a child abuse expert in an Economist documentary. She is trained in medical journalism and currently obtaining a Masters of Science in Health Communications for Social Change at CUNY-School of Public Health.
Advocacy
Dr. Agrawal is the recipient of a Special Achievement Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics and a state citation from Senator Schumer for gun safety policy advocacy for children. Dr. Agrawal’s research on pediatric violence prevention has been published in journals and presented at numerous conferences.
